Australian Government listens to sector on NFP Reforms

The Minister for Social Inclusion, Mark Butler and the Assistant Treasurer, Mark Arbib, today announced that the start date of the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission has been extended to 1 October 2012. The three month extension will provide more time for the sector and Government to continue to work closely together to finalise the legislation, in the spirit of the National Compact. Read more
